Light levels should be between medium and high for this diminutive, vibrantly green houseplant.

Pearl Grass, Pearl Weed, or Hemianthus micranthemoides, also known as Baby Tears, is a fast-growing stem plant with a beautiful appearance. It has delicate, round leaves that resemble shamrocks and a bright green coloration, making it particularly attractive. For the foreground or background of any planted aquarium, this stem plant is ideal. If you're looking for a plant that provides a safe haven for your aquarium inhabitants, this one is a great choice.

Plants like this one are easy to care for and can handle a wide range of water conditions. We recommend illuminating the leaves at least moderately so that they can reach their full potential in color. Snip a stem from the bush and replant it in your substrate to begin the propagation process. Because we don't use plastic packaging and instead keep our plants in water, you can rest assured that your plant will arrive in perfect condition.

We ship two bunches of this plant with multiple stems ranging from 4 to 6 inches in length for each order. It's unlikely that they'll get much taller than that, but depending on how you propagate them, they may get wider and denser.
