Neon Yellow Shrimp are a fun and vibrant addition to any aquarium. Pretty, useful, and entertaining: that's what you get with shrimp. They are a welcome addition to any aquarium because of their bright yellow color and lively disposition. These, like all dwarf shrimp, are extremely active and prolific reproducers. It is our standard practice to provide our clients with shrimp that are of breeding age.

As long as the water conditions are just right, neon yellow shrimp may do well in just about any freshwater aquarium. Shrimp that are comfortable in their tank may develop bright yellow colors even if they are not fully mature. These yellow shrimp carry the goldenback gene that causes a bright golden stripe down the back. Nearly all orders include these shrimp, and we'll continue to increase shipping quantities as our stockpile expands.



Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Fast-moving fish (such as Celestial Pearl Danios, Rasboras, Guppies, etc.). While dwarf shrimp can be kept succesfully with these crayfish, caution should be exercised, as the crayfish have been known to catch and eat slow, sick, or particularly small shrimp. Cichlids can be aggressive toward crayfish and should not be kept in the same tank. Bottom-dwelling tankmates should definitely be avoided.
