The deep black color of black diamond shrimp is truly mesmerizing. Black tiger shrimp, as they are sometimes called, are an eye-catching addition to any aquarium.
Similarly to how Sakura Red Cherry shrimp are a variant of the Neocaridina davidi species, Black Diamond shrimp are the result of selective breeding. Similar to Sakura Red Cherry shrimp, these shrimp require a similar level of care. In the right environment, these shrimp can flourish into a dazzling colony. Black Diamond shrimp, like all dwarf shrimp, make an excellent algae and waste-removing crew for your aquarium.
Most of the shrimp we ship are young adults between 1/2 and 3/4 inches in length, making them mature enough to reproduce.
