Sky Blue Velvet Shrimp are a stunning addition to any aquarium because of their stunning sky blue hue. Amazingly beautiful shrimp that also do a great job cleaning your tank! They have a lot of energy and produce a lot of young. Red Cherry Shrimp and Neon Yellow Shrimp are also members of this genus (Neocaridina davidi, formerly Neocaridina heteropoda). Sky Blue Velvet Shrimp have the same care needs as Red Cherry Shrimp, and they reproduce at the same rate.

This kind of shrimp may be kept in almost any freshwater aquarium. Plant tanks and community aquariums utilize them extensively, as do huge aquariums for sewage disposal and algae control.

The Sky Blue Velvet Shrimp may thrive in a wide range of freshwater tanks. As long as they feel secure in the tank, the younger shrimp, who are still developing, will become an intense shade of blue. To get the most intense blues, they use lower-intensity lights and a dark ground.
