The Panda Cory Catfish is a great choice if you want a lively community aquarium or planted tank (Corydorus panda). This species can be recognized by its distinct light pink/tan coloring, black dorsal fin, eye stripe, and mark at the base of its tail. Their gregarious natures mean that a school of them could easily become the focal point of many fish tanks.

The Panda Cory Catfish is the best option if you're looking for a hardy, low-maintenance schooling fish. Dwarf shrimp fry are toxic to it, so long as you avoid those. This scavenger prefers to live and feed on sandy or smooth gravel surfaces. Too abrasive a substrate could damage its fragile barbells and underside. This fish is incredibly low maintenance and can be fed a wide variety of dry and frozen foods. In most tropical freshwater environments, routine maintenance is all that is needed to keep it functioning.
